August 1, 2018Poydras Home, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Uptown New Orleans offering Independent Living, Assisted Living and Nursing Care as well as specialized Memory Support and an Adult Day Program, celebrated their bicentennial anniversary in 2017. Home Care Solutions is proud to become a part of this lasting legacy while expanding Poydras Home’s reach deeper into the Greater New Orleans area to fulfill the diverse care needs of even more seniors.
Poydras Home recognizes that community living is not the only option available to our aging population. In accordance with national industry trends, many CCRCs like Poydras Home are now offering support within the home through the acquisition of non-medical sitter companion service providers such as Home Care Solutions, allowing families to choose their optimum environment.
Home Care Solutions will continue to deliver our same menu of Aging Life Care Management services, personally advising seniors and their families as they face a wide variety of healthcare choices while also providing highly trained, non-medical sitter companion services within the home, extending our clients’ independence. Home Care Solutions will also continue to operate at our
current Metairie office location.
This exciting new venture will allow greater flexibility for both Poydras Home and Home Care Solutions to continue to meet the growing needs of more New Orleanians.
